Chris literally had to drag me out of the house for a road trip last week. The bone-weary tiredness has been hard to shake.
It’s a well-established fact that the beach is my happy place – the sights, sounds and smells of the coast soothe my soul – and I was long overdue for a visit. The main deterrent – my place of residence is not centrally located for easy saltwater access.

I can relate to the gravol in the apple. Sadly for my mother it didn’t work. Our gravol was crushed up and put in juice. Yes it was disgusting and chalky. My sisters fell for it every time. Me not so much
Also the smoking in the vehicle is a smell I will never forget. Some smells bring back great memories however this is not a smell I liked to be reminded of.
And I thought my situation with the apple was unique! I agree about the smoke filled car. My stomach still churns a bit when I smell a cigarette burning.
