Most Canadian children born between the years 1967 – 1996 will fondly remember their time spent with Ernie Coombs, more affectionately known as Mr. Dressup.

For three decades, children tuned in to the popular CBC television show each Monday to Friday at 10:30 am. The show primarily featured Mr. Dressup at his home, a simple set with a couch, shelves of toys, a kitchen and doors to the outside.
