While flipping through channels, we stumbled on a repeat of one of my favorite shows on Maine PBS.  Did you enjoy Keeping Up Appearances as much as I did?  The show originally aired from 1990-1995 on BBC1 and it’s as funny now as when as I first watched.

The central character, Hyacinth Bucket (which Hyacinth insists is pronounced Bouquet) devotes her entire existence to impressing others. The show follows Hyacinth as she attempts to prove her social superiority and gain the respect of those she considers upper class.
