Hello, how are you?

A commonly used North American greeting. But a loaded question nonetheless.

Someone asked how I was at a recent yoga class.  Most of the great ladies that attend are aware of my burnout because I’ve shared my struggles.  I’m honest about it because I wanted people to know why I can’t always follow simple instructions. Or why my attendance is sporadic at times.  My fellow yogi could tell by my hesitant reply that I was not okay.

Get real!!! So much in a title… I for one want to hear… the real answer…being real is how real connections are forged.
I’m going to experiment with this… I’m going to give the next person a real answer… and see how they respond. That will tell me how they really feel about me I think… maybe…
The people I love the most and the most endearing quality in someone is vulnerability. I shall wear it like a winter coat…. Be not afraid to be vulnerable, be not afraid to give a real answer… be not afraid to be you. Those who love you will surface… those who don’t… can’t go to hell 🙂 Do not go Gentle into that good night.. Dylan Thomas…

    1. Welcome back! I’ve missed your comments.😊 I think we all want to hear how your experiment goes. I can’t say I’ve had a lot of luck with it so far save for those genuine souls that have my best interests at heart. They are the treasured few.
