It’s hurricane season and it’s been an active one. I’ve been following Hurricane Helene’s catastrophic destruction across the United States. And at the time of writing, Hurricane Milton increased to a Category 5 as it moves toward the state of Florida. My thoughts are with all of those impacted.

CNN reported that Helene recovery could cost property owners more than $47 billion dollars. This is a scene that’s repeated over and over as the climate crisis intensifies. We need to take immediate action to change the trajectory our planet is heading for.
