According to Stats Canada data released in May 2023, over one-third of households in New Brunswick (36%) made purchases to feed or shelter birds on their property. Bird watching is my hobby. Your first thought might be that it’s ‘for the birds’, just like the idiom referring to something as worthless, pointless, or not deserving serious consideration. I disagree with the notion though.
